Returns / Refunds

Return Policy

Customers may return new and unused items that were purchased on this website (“merchandise”) if the merchandise remains in the same condition and with the original packaging as when it was received by the customer. Customers will be able to return merchandise purchased from this website for up to thirty (30) days after the date of purchase. If it has been over thirty (30) days from the date of purchase, unfortunately we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange for your merchandise.

To complete your return, Customer must show a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the original manufacturer. Please send to Surfrider Foundation via mail at P.O Box 6010 San Clemente, California US 92674. 

Refund Process

Once Customer’s merchandise return is received and inspected, Surfrider Foundation will send Customer an email notification that we have received the returned merchandise and whether a refund has been approved or denied. If approved, then the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the credit card or original method of payment, within sixty (60) days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If Customer has not received a refund after sixty (60) days, please check the credit card account or bank account again to see if it has posted.  There is often some processing time before a refund is posted on financial statements. If it has been over sixty (60) days and you have completed the steps above and still have not received a refund yet, please contact us at store@surfrider.org or call Surfrider Foundation fulfillment staff at 949.492.8170.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be eligible for exchange or refund. Unfortunately, sale items are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Exchanges

Merchandise is eligible for an exchange or replacement only if they are defective or damaged. If Customer needs to exchange an item of merchandise for the same item, send an email to store@surfrider.org describing the item, date of purchase and reason for exchange. Also, Customer should send the item to: P.O Box 6010 San Clemente California US 92674.

Shipping

To return your product, please mail it to: Surfrider Foundation P.O. Box 6010 San Clemente, California US 92674

Customer will be responsible for paying for return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Shipping time for exchanged products may vary, depending on geographic location of Customer. 

If Customer is shipping an item worth over $75, Surfrider recommends using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Surfrider Foundation cannot guarantee that returned item will be received through the mail.
